Game Modes Explained

By ยท Updated

What every mode is for, when it unlocks in your priorities, and who to bring.

Re:BIRTH has a lot of modes, and new players often spread themselves across all of them at once. Here's what each one is actually for - and which heroes earn their keep there.

Adventure & Nightmare

The story campaign and its harder mirror. Your top priority - it unlocks everything else and pays out Rubies and materials. Bring your best general team; Lu Bu, Freyja, Velika and Teo shine here.

Ruby farming stages

Repeatable stages you'll clear thousands of times. Speed beats difficulty - farm the highest stage you clear fast. AoE carries rule: Lu Bu, Freyja, Velika.

Power-Up Dungeons

Material dungeons for leveling and enhancement. Hit them on their bonus days and don't overthink the team - your farming core works fine.

Gear Raids & Sudden Raids

Boss fights that drop the gear your account will eventually be built on. Start the day they unlock. These want sustained single-target damage: Pascal, Shane, Espada, glued together by Biscuit.

Castle Rush

Score-attack bossing against a shared boss - same raid logic, leaderboard flavor. The raid core carries here too.

Advent Expedition

Rotating high-end boss content with its own team-building puzzles per boss. Endgame material - arrive with a developed roster and check each boss's gimmick before committing resources.

Tower of Trials

Floor-climbing challenge content. Steady progress with a balanced team; sustain matters more with every floor.

Arena (PvP)

Ranked player-vs-player. Early on, do your battles for the rewards and move on - real climbing starts when your core is geared. Meta names: Lu Bu, Rudy, Reginleif, Kagura, Karl Heron, with Lina and Aris anchoring tank teams.

Guild vs Guild

Team-scale PvP through your guild - one more reason joining an active guild early is non-negotiable. Defense comps mirror Arena logic.
