Treasure Hunt Answers

Every clue answer people have worked out, and how to reach the one that stays locked.

What the Treasure Hunt is

The Treasure Hunt (the site also calls it the Treasure Map) is one of the three browser activities running on the pre-registration page at pre.cookieruncrumble.com. Registering on the official site signs you up for it automatically, so there is nothing extra to opt into.

It works as a short chain of clues. Each step shows you a prompt, you type an answer, and a correct answer opens the next step along with hidden rewards and the occasional secret code. The chain is short enough to finish in one sitting apart from the last step, which is gated behind progress in the mini-game rather than behind a puzzle.

The answers

Four of the five steps can be entered straight away. Type them exactly as written; capitalisation has not mattered for anyone so far, but spacing does.

Unlocking the fifth clue

The last step does not have an answer you can look up, because the clue itself is not shown to you until you have collected 10,000 Crumbs in the mini-game on the same page. The sequence is:

  • Open the Treasure Hunt mini-game and let it run.
  • Keep collecting Crumbs across runs. The counter is cumulative, so nothing is wasted by stopping and coming back.
  • At 10,000 Crumbs total, return to the Treasure Hunt page and claim the clue that has now appeared.
  • Answer it to close out the chain.

What you get

Each completed step unlocks rewards and, at some steps, a secret code. Devsisters has not published the per-step amounts, so anyone quoting exact numbers is guessing. Everything you earn is delivered to your in-game mailbox after launch rather than paid out on the website.

Codes from this event are expected to redeem on a DevPlay web coupon page in the usual Devsisters fashion rather than inside the game. Our How to Redeem Codes guide covers that flow.
